Little Mister, Chubs, Bubbers..Everett, you are one year old, and mommy cannot believe it! Really, where did the time go?

Everett is such an incredible little guy, and we are so lucky to have him in our family! This past year he has brought so much joy and love into our lives. As I look into his bright blue eyes and sweet face, I feel so much gratitude, I feel so blessed that he is mine. He is a beautiful babe inside and out! He already shows concern and love for those around him, and he is so sweet and loving!

Now days everything turns into a phone to jabber into, or a brush to brush his hair. He loves to really talk on the phone to whoever is on the other end, and some of his jabbers seem to slowly be morphing into words. He is close to saying hi and I think he is attempting to say Noah. He has "no, no, no" down...we must say that a lot around here, oops! Jabbering and pointing is his form of communication lately, and so far, we seem to be able to tell what he wants without much frustration. He still has his high-pitched shrieks, and man those can peirce the ear, but I know he is just figuring out his voice and how to communicate. He lets those out in times of frustration, annoyance, anger, etc., and it usually doesn't take long to get help or whatever it is he needs, because they are loud, HaHa!

He is starting to stand for a few seconds unassisted, and he still moves quickly around furniture, but he is not yet attempting to walk on his own. I don't think it will be much longer though!

He quickly figured out how to climb stairs (which I've mentioned already), and I discovered the other day (under careful supervision) that he can safely get off of Noah's bed, "feeties first" all by himself and without any forcing or physically directing his feet/legs to go first.

We found just the other day that he is terrified of the garbage truck, and he does not like being in the Jeep when we are next to semi-trucks on the freeway. Both of those scare him, and it is so sad to see the fear written all over his face and in his voice!

He loves to sing and dance along with us, the tv, or the radio, and has gone from just "dancing" while sitting, to also doing it while standing (holding on to something still) and moving his little feet back and forth or swaying his body.

He loves to color with crayons, but yes, does still try to eat them. He still likes to look at books and be read to. He is really into toys (or anything) that can be put inside another object, or through it.

These aren't new, but he waves "bye-bye" when we are leaving places, and he also waves when it's time for him to go "night-night". He blows kisses, and also does the "Indian" noise with his mouth and hand as well.

He loves to play with Noah, and they are starting to realize they can push each other's buttons, but they are still very sweet to one another 99% of the time. They both show concern for the other, and love being together.

Everett is still a happy and mostly easy going baby. Sleep is slowly improving, as well as the weaning process. It's bittersweet that those things that are so tied to being a "baby" are slowly coming to an end, and that he will be up and running, eating/drinking, talking, and sleeping more like a little toddler rather than a baby, and I know it's going to happen before I know it!

We are all excited to see what the next year brings with our fun little chubbers! :)

Hello, I love these pictures! Where do you get them done at? I need to get "newborn" pics of Hailey before she's too old!
Ummm, can you say little cutie pie! Kris, those turned out soooo cute! I just love him so much. His little outfit is darling. I'm going go and get Kasyn's done soon for his 1 year. They are growing up so fast!
