I truly love the sights, sounds, and smells of being a mom and a wife/housewife.

I love to see my little kiddos sleeping peacefully. To see them smile and hear them laugh. To watch them interacting and playing together. To watch their little minds working and their little hands moving. To hear them call me mom or mama and say, "I love you!" or lay their head on me to let me know they do. To feel their little arms wrapped tightly around me, and their sweet and sometimes slobbery kisses. I love to watch when they accomplish something and feel proud. I love the way they smell so fresh and clean after their nightly bath and lotioning up.

I love the smell of a clean house, dinner (especially cooking all day long in the crock-pot), clean laundry, and the smell of the kitchen while the dishwasher is running.

I love to see the vehicle Stephen drove to work pull up in the driveway, and see him walk through the door. I love the way he smells of crisp, freshly cut wood after he's been working out in the shop, and feeling those hard working hands holding mine. I love looking into Stephen's gorgeous eyes and the butterfly feeling I get inside my tummy and warmth in my heart. I love to hear his voice on the other end of the phone. I love to see him smile, and hear him make everyone around him burst out into laughter.

So many sights, sounds, smells, and feelings that I can never capture in words, but I feel so blessed to experience them! It's too simple to say I love being a wife and a mom, but for those who experience it too, I know they understand how deep that statement truly goes.
