11 Months Old!!

Seriously, where did the time go? Everett will be turning one next month!

My 11-month-old little cutie is very explorative, curious, and fast at getting into things or getting away from us when we're after him to take something from him he shouldn't have. I don't remember Noah being so busy at this age, but I could have just forgotten. Everett has started "cruising" (holding onto furniture and walking holding onto it), has walked across the kitchen pushing and holding onto the office chair, and is trying to learn how to control/use his walker (it gets away from him, I guess b/c it's so light). He is so funny though, he still curls his toes when he stands most of the time, and when he walks holding onto something he doesn't bend his knees (but maybe that is normal..again, I don't remember). ..It's pretty cute and funny watching him try and walk behind his walker. He is so thrilled at this new skill, and he just grins and shrieks with pride when he's walking with the aid of something.

He is trying all kinds of new table food, and he is a great eater so far. There really hasn't been much he won't eat.

It seems like he is trying to say a few words. When he drops something and we say "uh-oh" he will say "uh," and there was one time he did say "uh-oh". He still says "mama" and "dada"..but mostly just babbling. He does call out to me using "mama" at times though, and I love it!

He follows Noah around all day, and Noah is so good to let him play with/near him. Everett is lucky to have such a sweet big brother! Noah is very concerned about Everett. It's really sweet! I love to watch them together.

Probably my new favorite thing, Everett has starting making the cutest face. He will form his mouth into an "O" and usually follows with saying "Oohh" at almost everything, HaHa. (Though he does make the face without the sound, too.) I love when he does this. It's almost as if he is excited about a new discovery he's made! He is such a little cutie and he keeps us all smiling!

I'm going to have to prepare myself for next month. Time went so quickly, I can't believe he is closer to toddlerhood compared to still having many more months of a baby. It is definitely bittersweet! I love to see him learn and grow, but I will miss the baby party as well.
...Time to start more seriously preparing for his 1st bday part! In the meantime I am going to enjoy his 11th month and hope it doesn't go too fast.
