He has started "solids" and has tried quite a few foods: sweet potatoes (of course), sweet carrots, bananas, pears, and applesauce. Out of all he's tried he likes sweet potatoes, sweet carrots, and bananas the most, with the first two probably being his favorite so far. Still nursing like a champ and still won't take a bottle, and he is not too into the sippy cup either. He hasn't had juice yet, but he has had water, which he loves to drink out of the bottled water bottles.
Poor little chubs has a cold right now, his first. Noah had so many ear infections (poor babe), so it has kind of surprised me that Everett hasn't really been sick until now, but we are definitely grateful. Maybe it has something to do with the seasons they were born in, who knows? He has only had his cold (that I've noticed) for a couple days, but it hasn't really affected his sleeping at night, during the day though he hasn't napped as well as normal.
I can't feel any new teeth coming, but he is showing the same signs he was when he got his two bottom teeth, so I'm wondering if he might be teething as well. The "signs" could be from his cold though also. Time will tell.
He has been a bit fussier than normal, but I'm sure it's due to not feeling well. Even still he is a great, happy baby!
He is now rolling over both directions, and so close to sitting up on his own/unsupported. He can sit for a few seconds unsupported, but still has a "round bottom" as they say. Before we know it he will be sitting on his own! I'm in no rush for him to reach the "milestones" though as long there is no sign of developmental problems or any other issues, they grow up way too fast as it is, so I am content with him reaching those accomplishments in his time.
Noah is still so loving and caring and LOVES being a big brother! He loves to make Everett laugh, and Everett loves to have Noah play with him and make him laugh! Yesterday at the doctor appointment when they were telling me what shots he was getting Noah looked at me with such concern and almost with tears in his eyes said, "I don't want them to hurt him." It melted my heart! He was very worried they were going to hurt Everett by giving him shots. When they did give Everett his shots, Noah's facial expression was so sweet, you could see his concern written all over. ..And today before Noah left for Pre-school he really wanted to give Everett a kiss since Everett was not up yet and Noah still hadn't seen him. I love watching the love they have for each other.
I need to take a good picture of Everett by himself, but for now here is a picture of all 3 of us from yesterday:
