Three Months

Everett is now three months old (about a week ago). He is such a good baby and is so fun! A bit ago he started to coo and "talk" to us, and he always strikes up a conversation with me after his bath while I am putting lotion and then his jammies on him. He discovered that his fist or fingers make a good binkie when trying to fall asleep, or sometimes when he is waiting to be fed, and still rarely will take a real binkie. I love watching and hearing him suck on his little fist or fingers, it's so cute! It seems his face is starting to thin out a little compared to what it was, but he still has kissable, chubby cheeks and still looks chubby everywhere else! He is so happy and smily, and now laughs, sometimes randomly he will just burst out in laughter! He is sleeping really well at night and goes between 5 to 9 hours, so awesome! He is now in his own room, because the first night we put him in there for his first stretch (so we could put laundry away without disturbing him) he slept 8 hours, so I decided to keep putting him in there and it has worked out well for everyone! He is super drooly these days, not sure if preparations are beginning for teeth to start cutting, but I'm sure we won't see teeth for awhile. We found a couple ticklish spots if you can get them just right, bottom of his feet, on his sides, armpits, and neck, and I love tickling him and making him laugh! Depending on the brand, he is wearing 3-6 month or 6-9 month clothing, still squeezing into some 0-3 month as well. I can't seem to keep his fingernails short, they grow so fast, and the poor little bug scratches himself a lot. He has lost a lot of hair on the sides and top, and it's still coming out (I notice it on my arms after holding him and on his sheets in his bed), but he has a little party (mullet) in the back that still seems to be all there.




He is so fun and we love having in our family! I can't imagine it any other way!
