Doctor's Appointment

Today I had a doctor's appointment. Here is the low down:

Got swabbed for Strep B (which is routine, and I was positive with Noah, so that meant antibiotics during labor). Will know the results (positive or negative) soon.

At first feel my doctor couldn't feel the baby's head around where he thought it would be (he was checking to make sure he is head down). He mentioned if he isn't head down, we might have to try to turn him so his head is into my pelivs. Can you say OUCH?! I've seen ladies on t.v. that have had to have their babies manually turned, it looks so painful! During my cervix check, he said that he couldn't feel baby boy's head from the outside of my tummy because it's already super low in my pelvis! Good news! ..But that must also be why I have horrible right-sided pelvic pain HaHa.

I am not yet dilated any, but that is to be expected for where I'm at week wise. I am starting to efface though. My doctor predicted (well guessed is more the term I should use) that I will be 2-cm dilated at my next appointment. We'll see. :)

I'm measuring right where I should be, so that is also great news!

Another appointment in 2 weeks, and then I go to weekly appointments! So crazy!

At my next appointment I'll almost be 37 weeks, which I have mentioned time and time again is "full term"! Baby would be considered safe to come anytime after he reaches full term. So crazy to think that it might just barely be over 2 weeks that little man could be here! So exciting! :)
