Ten, NINE...

NINE weeks to my due date.
SEVEN weeks til the same number week Noah came!
SIX weeks til baby is full term and would be ok to come anytime!

I am 31 weeks along today! Still experiencing a few of the discomforts of pregnancy, and a few more are creeping in, but that just means we are getting closer to the end! A few weeks ago I started noticing I'm having braxton hicks contractions (braxton hicks: start happening early on in pregnancy but are usually not felt until the 3rd trimester. They are irregular, infrequent, non-rhythmic, usually painless contractions that tighten the uterus for 30-60 seconds but do not dilate the cervix as "real" contractions do- so they aren't putting your body into labor and are not a reaction to your body being in or going into labor). They are nothing to be concerned about, it is completly normal, but they are just a little uncomfortable.. they don't happen very often though so I can deal. ;) I just hope that once I get closer to the end they don't trick me into thinking I'm really in labor HaHa.

We have baby boy's new crib bedding and he has gotten a few new outfits! That has been fun for me to being able to start buying things for him! We also picked out some paint samples for his room. Hopefully we will be getting his room all put together these next few weeks/weekends. :)

As it stands right now I think the names we are considering/the names we have on our list are as follows: Maddox, Everett, Ethan.
It seems as though every name we bring up that we like someone has a negative association to, and/or they just plain don't like, and if we were having to please everyone we would not be able to find a name (that is a lot of people to agree on a name HaHa!). So I realize some of you are probably wrinkling up your nose at one or all of those names, but those are the names we like enough to consider right now. I figure that everyone else has either had, or will have, their chance to name their own children, and now it's our turn. :) And if baby boy doesn't like his name when he's older he can change it. ;)
Noah was telling me all day Monday that we should name his baby brother "Benico," that is some made-up word he uses all the time HaHa. He also said that my neice, who is pregnant with a baby boy and has the last name Benson as well(our hubbies are not related), should name her baby that, too. I'm not too sure about having two "Benico" Bensons HaHa. ;) I'm not too sure about even having one HaHa. ;)
We might just have to wait and see this little guy before we know what we want to name him, and who knows our list might grow or completely change between now and delivery time!

I've started to daydream a lot about what this little guy will look like and be like. I wonder if he will be a cookie-cutter version of Noah, or if he will just look similar/related, or if he will look completely different?! I'm excited to meet him, hold him, and love on him! I am anxious to see how he differs/or is the same as when Noah was a little baby, and then of course it will be fun to see their different personalities once baby boy starts exhibiting his. I'm excited to have two little boys running around, even if I am nervous for it, too! ;)

I'm sure I've mentioned this, but I'm mentioning it again. I have my next Doctor's appointment a week from this coming Monday, my appointment is January 31st, and we will most likely schedule an ultrasound and start going to 2-week appointments! I can't wait to see my little guy on screen again, and to be going in the Doctor more frequently and learning of the progress I'm making toward having little mister here! :)

I like the names. And, it's your baby, so you name it whatever you want! I can't believe it is so close...I can't wait!

Ha ha ha Benico, you should consider it lol, if not maybe Sher will :) That is too funny! And Sher is right, you can name your baby whatever the heck you want, nobody else contributed to making him but you two!
