A Sunbeam!

Can you believe Noah is a Sunbeam this year?! I can't. Where did the time go?!

He was excited to go to "big primary," but we missed the first week because we were at Little Logan's baby blessing. When we were at my in-law's church, in the chapel, Noah asked me "Is this big primary?" HeHe so cute.

This past Sunday was his first day in "big primary". He didn't want to stay in sharing time, and the Sunbeam teachers' laps/arms were already full of other crying Sunbeams (can't say I blame the poor little sunbeams, it's so new and probably a little overwhelming to them at first), so I went and got Stephen to sit in with him. Stephen said after they sang the "Birthday" song Noah says, "That was a fun birthday!" Also, when they sang the "Hello" song Noah waved at the child/children upfront the whole time HeHe. He is so funny! I heard them singing some of the songs he knew, and Stephen said that he sang along and tried to sing the other songs as well. He went to class without Stephen (woohoo!) and when I picked him up he seemed as happy as could be! I'm glad he had such a good first Sunday in primary! :)

Just another little note, when I picked him up he was still coloring his picture and ended up taking the crayon home with him because he was still working on it HaHa. He was showing me his picture, very excited about it, so I asked him what it was and he very happily answers "Reindeers at Christmas time!" HaHa!

I wanted to get a picture of him in his new, cute little church outfit (that when he opened at Christmas he held up to him and said: "That's me!" HaHa), but we kind of had a rough start to the day and I forgot. I'll have to take one next week. I love seeing little boys all dressed up in their best HeHe.

Just had to record his very first day in "big primary". Hopefully he will have a lot of fun and like being in there for the rest of the year!

How cute! I'm glad it went well for him. That is so funny about the birthday and hello song, what a sweetie :) That first month in Sunbeams is the worst, I wanted to start crying with the rest of the kids...and I was the teacher. We got released from Sunbeams finally, now we are librarians...weird I know...but I'm not complaining! I really miss primary though :( I was so excited for the new year because there would finally be girls in our class ha ha.
