Memorial Day

Every year for Memorial Day we have breakfast with Stephen's family. This year his parents were out of town until that night, but us kids decided to continue on with tradition. Instead of going to Village Inn we did a home-cooked breakfast. It was yummy! We had a great time hanging out with everyone!

After breakfast we made our way up to my mom's house, after a stop for Slurpees, for a family BBQ.The weather was really nice so we took the Jeep. Here's a picture of our little stud all ready to ride in the topless Jeep:

At my mom's house it was fun to see everyone and hang out with that side of the fam too! While we were up there we stopped by my dad's grave. It was decorated beautifully! I still have a hard time being there, but was glad we went. I miss him like crazy! (Unfortunatley didn't get any pictures of my side of the family or my dad's grave).

We had to come home a bit early so Stephen could take the Scouts around to pick up flags, and we were then invited over to have cobbler and roast marshmellows at a neighbors/friend's house. Stephen and Noah went, but I stayed home and rested because my arthritis has been really flaring up lately, and I didn't feel the greatest/was in a very uncomfortable amount of pain. They both had a lot of fun though! I was sad I missed out!
