Update on us.

I figured it was about time for another update on our life. ;)

The sale of the home fell through. The buyers backed out a half an hour before their deadline was up. Our house passed the home inspection wonderfully. There was no real reason why they backed out, well nothing specific that we could change or anything. I guess the wife just wasn't 100% on the house in the first place, so they just didn't go through with it. We found out on Sunday though that the night before they backed out they called our previous Bishop, saying they were buying our house, and wanted to know what the ward was like. Stephen and Bishop Hansbrow got interrupted, so Stephen didn't hear all of how the conversation went. I'm curious to know what was said though HaHa.
As for what we are going to do now (keep it on the market or take it off), we haven't made a decision yet.

Stephen is doing great. Working hard like always and attending a lot of scouting activities b/c it's the 100th year of scouting this year.
Funny story about him..
A week or so ago he woke up around 11 p.m. and was saying something about being late for work, worried that the clock in our bedroom wasn't right. Once I finally had him fully awake, he realized what time it was and what was going on. About two hours later I wake up to him just getting out of the shower. He comes out of the bathroom, and I ask him what he is doing. He thinks he is getting ready for work b/c he is going to be late. I asked him what time it was because it felt like it wasn't much later than the first episode, and I hadn't looked at the clock yet. He looks at the clock and it's only a little before 2 a.m.!! I guess he is so dedicated he gets ready hours in advance! ;) It was pretty funny! Maybe one of those "had to be there" moments, but I am still laughing about it today!

Noah is doing great! He seems to get bigger everyday. He is such a busy little boy, and he has SOO MUCH energy! He goes all day long! He has been talking in full sentences for awhile now, and he talks all day long as well! Some things are still hard to understand, but his vocabulary amazes me!

He has hit the "terrible twos" and has me on my toes most of the time! This week alone he has snuck outside into the backyard around 3 times, 2 of those times without any shoes on (in the snow mind you)!
He has started to yell/talk back and do the things you deliberately ask him not to when he is mad. Definitely a trying age, but such a fun one as well!

He is still all boy! He always wants to ride in the Jeep or "daddy's truck". He still loves anything sports, and likes me to come play "Basketball hoop" with him because "That be so fun!". His favorite people are anyone in the family and my friend's little boy Kyle. He is always asking to "Go home to Kyle/Grandma/Maggie/Whoever".
He "texts" on his play phones and checks his "email" on the computer. His favorite shows to watch on t.v. are Super Y (or is it Super Why?), Dinosaur Train, and Sesame Street.
There is so much personality in such a little body! He loves to dance and make people laugh. Definitely a show off. ;)
He is growing up too fast! I love this time with him so much. He is so fun!

As for me, I am doing the wife and mom thing alont with working whenever I get the chance. I interviewed for a new (better) job this morning and chances are good that I will get it. I will know tonight or tomorrow. It will be doing data entry from home, and I will be paid hourly instead of based on production, so that will be awesome. I have some friends who work for this company, and I've been waiting for an at-home position to open up with them forever! It finally has, and I am really excited! :) Hopefully I will get it!

I have been hesistant to say much about this next subject, but I figured that it is an important part of what's going on in our lives, so I will share it. ;) Back in November I got a prescription for fertility meds. We have been trying to add to our family since a few months before Novemember. No luck yet, but we are hopeful! When in the moment it can be hard to understand why some things aren't happening when you feel it is the right time, but we know that it will happen when the time is right, and we know that the final say comes from someone with much more wisdom than us. ;) Until then we are just doing all we can to help that happen. When there is anything exciting to report you can be sure I will let everyone know! :)

If you have made it to the end of this entry I applaud you. ;) I will make sure my next one is less words and more pictures to give you a break!

I'm off to work...
