..::Strawberry Days::..

Thursday Noah and I headed up to my mom's to spend the rest of the week and weekend to see my sister and her family, and for the Strawberry Days activities.

Thursday we both got our hair cut, pics for that specifically to come soon. Then that night we just hung out with the fam! :)

Friday my nephew Luke and I decided to take Noah over to Huck Finn Day for the last 20 or so minutes to see what it was about. Much to my surprise it was a lot better than I thought it would be, and the best part is everything was FREE! They had all kinds of activities going on. Due to Noah's age, and the lines being so long we didn't do much, but next year we will join in all the fun for sure! While we were there we looked at the "Pet Show" and we all petted a huge snake! Yes, we are brave! Noah also had fun checking out the turtle. They had rats and other small rodents, but I stayed far away from those! (I hate mice, rats, small rodents!) They had many other things to do, a fish pond, pony rides, bouncy castles, face painting, and they filled an area of the park with water to make a pond where you could try to catch fish in a net, yes actual big, lake fish! A lot of fun things going on! Can't wait to take Noah next year!
Friday night Stephen and I went to the rodeo with Stephen's friend Scott and his date and her friends. It was a blast! We didn't get any pics that night b/c we planned to deck ourselves out in our cowboy/cowgirl gear and take Noah Saturday night and wanted to take pictures then.

Saturday morning we (Stephen, me, Noah, my neice Carly, and nephew Luke) went to the parade. It down poured a few times for a few minutes, but it was worth waiting it out for! Noah wasn't too sure about it all, but by the end he was clapping and having fun! Stephen was cracking jokes the entire time of course, which made it even funner! :)
Saturday night we were going to go to the rodeo, but called it on account of rain! It was raining really hard, and we didn't think taking Noah out in the rain was too good of an idea.

All in all it was really fun! We missed a few Strawberry Days activities I wanted to go to, but maybe next year we'll get to everything!

The best part of the week/weekend was spending time with my sister and her family! We don't get to see them that often. I'm glad they were up! :) Although, we missed my nephew Jacob! He wasn't able to come up because he had to work. Hopefully we will get to see him soon!

And a P.S. I didn't forget about Father's Day. An entry about that coming soon!
