Father's Day Post

I know this is late. Forgive me.
I think a little bit of it has to do with the fact that anything that has to do with fathers is hard for me. I hope I can make it through this post!
I just want to write a little bit about all the fathers/men in my life..

First and foremost, I have to say that Noah has the best daddy! Stephen is an amazing father. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, be a comforter, wrestle, play, talk..anything when it comes to Noah. Noah lights up when his dad is around, and it's been like that for as long as I can remember. I can't thank Stephen enough for being the wonderful father he is. Noah and I both love him very much!

My father-in-law is a great guy! He has been a wonderful support to me after losing my own father. I don't know what I would do without him! He has always been welcoming and accepting. I feel lucky to have such a great father-in-law. He would do anything for us, and has helped us out in ways he doesn't even realize!

I don't know what I would do, or where I would be without my brother. Not only is he a brother, but he is my friend. He is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He would give the shirt off his back if asked. He is a lot like our dad. Just an all around great guy! I love my brother so very much, and I feel lucky to have the relationship I have with him. He has always been there for me, supported me, and encouraged me. I could go on and on about him. He is just the best! :)

My nephews are also important men in my life. They are all so talented in many different areas. I look up to them and admire them so much! They are all going to make wonderful husbands and fathers someday!

My brother-in-laws are also great men! I have looked to them and sought after qualities they have for my own husband. On both sides, my brother-in-laws are great! I know they are all there in any time of need and I am thankful for that! They are all great fathers!

I also have a lot of great guy friends in my life. For some reason it has always been easier for me to be friends with guys than girls. I am lucky to have the friends that I do. They have helped me through tough times in my life, and looked after me like a family member.

And last, but definitely not least in the least bit..I have (had) the best dad there is (was)!! He was "older" in age, but young in spirit. He always made time for me. He would ride bikes, play tennis, play catch, read books, or do whatever it was I asked of him. He was an amazing example of the gospel, and showed me what it was to quietly make an impact. He was also a great example of service and hard work. He was the most loving and sincere man I know, and he wasn't afraid to show his sensitive side. I miss him so much, and I wish he could see, play with, and be that example to Noah also. That is one of the hardest parts about having him gone. I saw how incredible he was with the other grandchildren, and I know Noah would have been his Grandpa's boy!

Lastly, my Father in Heaven. I know he is there for me, aware, and always willing to reach out to me. I know he loves me..look at all he has blessed me with!..and I am grateful to feel of his love!

To all the men in my life, I love you all very much! Thanks for being so wonderful! :)
