Much to say about Noah!

Instead of continuing to go back to my earlier entry about Noah (like I have been doing), I decided to just put them in an entry of their own..because really, who's checking that entry time and again just to see if I've added anything I missed the first time around?!

To add to the list of doing..
*(I hope I didn't already say this, if I did too bad!) Noah likes to be a big helper by throwing his diapers (or anything garbage bound) away!
*If you ask him what a monkey does he will try to mimick the hands underneath the armpit thing and say "eee eee". He's my cute little monkey! ;)
*He can show you where his shoes, tongue, and hair are. He likes to brush his own hair. He also likes to try to brush his own teeth, although he usually ends up scrubbing something else with his toothbrush too if I'm not watching him like a hawk!

To add to the list of saying..
*Bye-bye (might have that one in the previous entry about this too..)
*"MMmmm"
*Cookie
*Up
*Where'd it go?
*What's that?

..And a story to go along with the last word I forgot to mention he says: Jesus.
A couple months ago we painted our bedroom so I had a bunch of pictures and decorations in a box in the office. He pulled out a picture of Jesus and was kissing it and just smiling and jabbering to it. Now, he had never done this with any picture before, especially without prompting, this time he did, and all on his own. So I told him it was "Jesus" and after a couple attempts to say his name, he got it! Now he knows who Jesus is and when allowed (he can get kind of rough with things..afterall he is a boy!) he likes to carry around a picture of Jesus! So sweet! He can recognize pictures of Christ that look different than ones we've told him it was "Jesus" all on his own too. Coincidence? ;)

I am searching for the perfect picture of Christ to hang in his room. Of course there are many good ones, but I haven't found one that I feel is "it" yet. After that initial reaction to a picture of him, I definitely need to hang one in Noah's room.

Before I go, today I went to peek in on Noah after I had gotten dressed (he was playing in his room). He was very vocally reading "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" so I tried to sneak up on him to video it, because it was so cute. Of course, like all attempts to video him, I failed! He ended up bringing it in to me before I could get the camera out and on in time. Bummer! He still loves to read and be read to. I love it!
..And just b/c I need to put a pic in here, I'm going to add the one I got a couple months ago of him "reading" a book while I'm on the subject!

Toothbrush in hand, likes to help, toilet is eye level. . . .Depending on how your day is going, sometimes you have to choose the lesser of two evils and sometimes the choice is between two good ones. (The toothbrush can work for a dog brush as well, but only in an emergency.)
I believe that no, it isn’t a coincidence that he recognizes Jesus in all the different pictures, and yes Noah knows more about Him than he can express. He is already trying to serve and “choose the right, let the consequence follow.” He is so, so cute and we love him to death!
