Mother's Day @--'--

A mother is so many different things, to so many different people..not just a mother, but women!! I am so grateful to all the amazing women in my life! I don't know where I would be without them!
About a few of them:

My mom
My Mother is one of the most caring, loving, supportive people I have ever met. She looks out for everyone, and will drop anything to help out a loved one or friend. She has taught me so much about what it means to serve others, and to love unconditionally. She has taught me a lot more than just that, but I would be here all day if I typed it all down.
My mom is always there for me in any time of need, silly or serious. She is my best friend! She is amazing and I feel so blessed to have her as a mother!

My mother-in-law
My Mother-In-Law is so great! She has accepted me from day one, even when I wasn't quite where I should be in life. She has always been warm and welcoming, supportive and encouraging. She supports us as a family, and me individually in all that I do. I am lucky to have such a great mother-in-law.

My sisters
Both of my sisters have been such an amazing example to me. They have shown me what it is to be a mother, sister, and friend. They have taught me through their example how important it is to live a gospel centered life. Their relationships have always been ones that I have looked to as an example of what I want in my own life.

My nieces
They are all wonderful and beautiful young women. I feel lucky to have grown up with them, and to have the close realtionships that I do with all of them! They are all such an inspiration to me, and are some of my very best friends. I look up to all of them in ways they will probably never know.

My friends
I don't know what I would do without the girl-friends that I have. We have made some amazing memories and made it through some hard times together. They all have taught me something about myself, and helped me figure out the person I wanted to become..and have supported me in the journey to get there.

All the women in my life are amazing! Thanks to all of you for all you do, not only for me, but to make this world wonderful! I believe we as women are a force to be reckoned with! We have the ability to mold an shape the future, and to change the world if we desire. Women are incredible creatures. ;)

With that said, my Mother's Day was awesome! At church all the women were able to attend Relief Society and the lesson was so uplifting and inspiring! I am lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful women in my ward and neighborhood!
After church we went to dinner at my in-law's and got to talk to my brother-in-law who is on a mission. It was great to talk to him! He comes home in October and we are counting down the weeks! Dinner was fantastic as always! My mother-in-law gave me a beautiful book, and my sister-in-law gave me her craftiness on paper card-style! I'm always asking her if I can come look through her cards and use one for one thing or another. Awesome gifts! I gave my mother-in-law a cute little bag with 2 Sudoku(sp?) books, some cute pencils, a bag of Almond Joys and a bookmark with Noah's picture on it. The grandkids (Noah and his cousin Maggie) gave her an updated picture of the two of them, which was absolutely adorable!
..On the subject of gifts, Stephen got me a cute bracelet! I love it! :) I especially love that he picked it out.

After that we headed over to my mom's to drop off her present. The day before I had gone up to go to a Mother Daughter activity her ward had. It was so much fun! We had lunch and they had a little presentation, then we broke off into groups and did something at each little station. They also had the cutest backdrop set up and took pictures of all the mom and daughter groups that came! I can't wait to see the pic! My sister, Susan, was also able to make it to that with us. We had a great time! That night Stephen and I went out to dinner with my mom also.
For her gift we gave her some beautiful earings and a necklace to match!

Before I end this LONG entry, I just have to say that while I was sitting in sacrament yesterday I was watching Noah. Admiring him I was overcome with a feeling I cannot even put into words..it was joy, gratefulness, awe and a whole bunch of things mixed together. I felt (and always feel) so lucky to have him in my life! The best Mother's Day gift is waking up to his sweet face every morning. I also got thinking about the trial it was for me personally to get him here. The very thought that came to me was how worth it that trial was. I think I appreciate motherhood so much more because it took some trying to get it. I would do it all over again and then some, if it meant I would be his mommy. He is my world, and I am honored to be a mother to him!
