For those who are confused by my title, EJS is "Easter Jeep Safari". If you want to know more about it you can google it! ;) Most of you already know all about it because it is my favorite yearly trip.
So as a time-honored tradition we headed to Moab for Easter! We missed last year because Noah was too young, so this was his first trip. He did AMAZING! I really expected things to go a lot different than they did. He was such a trooper riding in his car seat for the long ride down, and on the long trail rides.
This year was a first for us as well, as we stayed in a hotel instead of camping. (Easier with a toddler!)
We left on Thursday and came back late Sunday afternoon. This year wasn't as crowded as years past, but there were still plenty of people there! We hit 4 trails this year, and the park a few times to give Noah a chance to run around! ;) The first night there we just relaxed and geared up for the fun to come! Day 2 we did a trail called "Fins'n'Things"..a bit on the easier side for experienced drivers, but always a good one to do to get "warmed" up! ;) Then to follow we went on a scenic drive of "Gemini Bridges" (basically a dirt road, but we had never gone on it in the past.) Day 3 we did "Hells Revenge" as always, and Day 4 we did "Poison Spider Mesa" before we headed home! As expected it was such a great time! Noah even seemed to enjoy the off-roading! :) He did sleep through some of the trails, but he acted excited and would clap and jabber on and on when he was awake!
Of course what's Easter without an Easter basket?! His Easter Basket was a soft dump truck that had a "floppy" hat, M&Ms, fruit snacks, and sidewalk chalk. He was excited to find it and discover his treats!
P.S. I realize I didn't get any cool pictures of our Jeep on any trails or obstacles, that is because I love to ride over the obstacles instead of getting out to take pictures. I need to be better about this so everyone can see what we do!

Looks like a great time! What a cute family!
I am glad you posted this! I have family in Moab and all growing up we have gone there for Easter and Thanksgiving, but I haven't been down there for a year and a half so it was fun to see pics. The Jeep Safari is awesome and it's fun to see a small town come to life with excitement! It looks like your little guy is growing up way too fast like they do! Hope you guys are doing good!
