Tate 2 to 3 Months Old

With a husband that is gone all week, three cute boys, and a work-from-home job that keep me busy, I am barely able to keep up on everyday life, and unfortunately that means things (like the blog) are neglected.

Our laptop is not working, and I haven't uploaded any pictures to this dinosaur of a computer, so sadly this will be a picture-less post, but I really wanted to record Tate at 2 and 3 months.

At his 2-month appointment he weighed 13 lbs. 2 oz. and was 24 inches long, and he is a healthy, perfect little guy! He still has his reddish-blonde hair, but he has lost some of it, or I should say it has thinned out quite a bit..but he still sports a cute mohawk and has hair on his head. He started smiling around 2 months and now he is full on laughing! He used to have a fussy time at about 8 p.m., but fortunately he has outgrown that. He also started sleeping through the night, anywhere from 5 to 7 hours a stretch, and that has been so great! He took a bottle okay after he was first born, but now he wants nothing to do with them really, and he also isn't a fan of the binky..but he sucks his fist instead and makes the cutest noises when he does, haha. He is really what I would describe as a perfect baby. He is so happy and sweet! He eats, naps, and sleeps at night great, and when he's awake he is happy and content. He loves to watch his brothers, and he gets mesmerized by the T.V. He lights up when he sees Noah, and he will "talk" to Noah endlessly. He loves Everett, too, but he flinches a little when Everett heads towards him, understandably so..Everett's a busy 2-year-old with not much of a concept of "soft" or "personal space."

Tate has started to "play" with toys, and he will hold onto them and get them into his mouth. He is starting to notice his feet, and I love to watch him hold them up and stare at them trying to figure them out. He is not much of a fan of "tummy time," and I blame myself, I probably don't put him on his tummy as often as I should.

I can hardly believe that he will be 4 months old in just a few weeks! Time is going by way too quickly, but I (we) are enjoying and soaking up every moment with our little Taters! He makes my heart so happy! I can't imagine life without his sweet smile and soft coos.
