Little Kicker
Noah got his first chance at playing an organized sport..soccer, who knew?! ;) To all who know Stephen and his outspoken "love" (or lack thereof) for soccer, you know that this is a HUGE deal!--
Our neighbor signed her son (same age as Noah) up for a soccer clinic type thing, and it was just a bit too much for him (he is autistic), so she offered the last few classes to Noah for free! Stephen took him tonight and said he had fun! I think it was fun for daddy to see his little sportster getting involved in an organized sport and playing with the other kids! I guess there is only one other class left, Thursday, but it will give Noah a good idea of whether or not he would like to be signed up to play soccer, or something else, in the future. I am glad he got the opportunity to go! ...And glad he was able to run some energy out, too, HaHa! :) ---Stephen said that he was a little timid, he wouldn't get involved when there was a huge group around the ball, and that he was "directionally challenged" HaHa (ran the ball the wrong direction), but I think both of those are probably pretty common among his age at first. I guess he also got frustrated and picked up the ball and threw it into the net, scoring a goal for the other team (HaHa, oops!), but all the parents got a good chuckle out of it. He did have a star moment though, ran the ball all the way down the field and almost scored a goal! Go Noah!! :) We are so proud of him!
