It seems like every Thanksgiving we have a meal contribution mishap, last year it was the pie and this year the stuffing, boxed stuffing at that. You might be wondering how you can mess up something as easy as stuffing, well it's actually easier than one might think. We were trying to be efficient and decided to use one of the big scout pots to make all 5 boxes at once, sounds like a good enough idea, right?! Well, it didn't turn out so great, and what we were left with was a big gooey, mushy pot of stuffing. Stephen did however make two other fabulous things...carrots and a dutch oven blueberry cobbler, Yum! :)
Both meals were great and it was good to spend time with family!
It was so nice to see my siblings and their families, as I've mentioned quite a bit lately, I rarely get to see them. They all loved seeing Noah and Everett especially. We had a lot of fun laughing and visiting together. And Noah had a ton of fun playing with his cousins, even if they are a lot older. He has a special relationship with each one, and I am so thankful for that. I appreciate that they take the time to play with him!
At Stephen's parent's house we (we as in the "kids" - Stephen and I and the siblings and their spouses and Rachel) ended up playing games after dinner, which was fun! Grandpa slept and Grandma watched and played with the little ones. Noah had a great time, as always, playing at Grandma's house and playing with Maggie!
Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures. My nephew took one of him and Everett that he posted on FB, so I might "steal" it because it's so cute! If I get it copied and saved, I'll post it on here later. :)
**Edited to add the only picture I have/or know of this year's Thanksgiving. My handsome newphew and my cute little man:
