For a lot of people, the internet (forums, Facebook, blogs, livejournal, etc.) is a place for them to spread the spirit of thankfulness by posting something they are thankful for every day. I am jumping on the bandwagon and going to *try* (no promises on getting to it *every single day*) to post something I am thankful for every day of November.
To be honest these posts started popping up at just the right time for me to see, a time when I need to redirect my focus on what I do have to be thankful for, instead of focusing on the stresses and disappointments and struggles, because through the hard times there is always room for the good...it is always there, we just have to choose to see it.
Today I am thankful for the laughter, joy, happiness, and fun that Noah and Everett bring into my life. A simple smile or laugh, hug or kiss, coo or "I love you", can make even the seemingly horrible days bearable, and often times turns them into the best days ever! Having children gives one an opportunity to experience a joy and love they could never imagine otherwise, and I feel so lucky to be able to experience it!

Kris, I love this idea! I have kept a happiness journal where I record blessings and service. This has really helped me keep the focus off myself and I truly believe when we are thankful for what we have we notice the irritable things less. You are a great example and friend. I admire how you are always looking to do what's right. Love, Julane
Kris, sorry I noticed that the first post I left was done in my sisters name. Apparently she logged in to gmail while she was here and I didn't catch it. Sorry. Julane
