Everett is now 4 months old! I can't believe it's been 4 months already, but at the same time it feels like he's always been a part of our family. He is still a little tall chubbs! At his 4-month appointment yesterday he weighed 18.6 lbs and was 27 inches long. I forgot to get a percentile printout, but Stephen and I both used onlince calculators, both with a little different result but not too far off, and he is around the 95th percentile for both weight and height for his age. Still our big beautiful boy!
Facts about being 4 months:
Digressed in sleeping so well, but last night slept really well again, so I'm hoping that means his sleeping habits are going back to being great!
Awhile back he discovered his hands, and he still loves to suck and chew on them. I love when he studies them and brings one hand (or both) in the middle of his face and goes cross-eyed to look. He has started using his hands a lot more and can be entertained for a few minutes playing with toys, of course in typical baby-fashion they usually go straight to his mouth.
He has always liked getting his diaper changed, but now he full on laughs most times when getting changed. It is super cute and makes what could be a not-so-fun task actually not so bad!
He loves to watch Noah, and I love to watch him watching Noah. This is nothing new, but he shows his excitement and happiness in watching his big brother a lot more now by smiling, cooing, and laughing. Noah loves to make him laugh!
He really seems like he wants to sit up on his own! He loves to be sitting up so he can look around and see what's going on.
Went swimming for the first time last Saturday. He seemed indifferent to it, but we didn't put him in the water much. He definitely didn't like his toes dipped into the water at the Highland Splash Park though, the water was freezing!
His hair is starting to grow back in and he has cute, light brown fuzz going on!
He is still a great and happy baby! I feel so lucky!
I need to snap a new photo for 4 months. The lady at the library will vouche for his cuteness though. Yesterday a woman at storytime told me he was the cutest baby she'd ever seen, and that they don't get much cuter than that. She then followed that by saying she isn't just saying that either because she has 3 kids of her own HaHa. We think he's pretty cute! ..And I just love his cute little smile and chubby cheeks (and chubby everything)!
