Mother's Day Weekend

Saturday my mom and I went to lunch and a glitter toe party for a Mother's Day outing. A big thanks to my hubby for watching Noah all day! It was so nice to spend the day with her! We had a lot of fun! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mother! She has taught me so much and been a wonderful example to me througout my life! All the good parts of me stem from her! I just love my mom so much! She truly is one of my very best friends!

Sunday I made it to a whole block of church for the first time in a long time! It was nice! My favorite part was watching the primary sing. Even though Noah didn't know the songs he went up and tried to sing. I wish I could explain in words what he did because it was so cute and funny! He stood up there and just mouthed something to make it look like he was singing, hard to explain exactly, but it was just so cute! :) He also made me a gift in his primary class. He colored on a heart that says "My heart is full of love for Mom".

Besides my wonderful life and two beautiful boys, for Mother's Day Stephen gave me the opportunity to try and take a nap! Perfect gift for a mom with a new baby! After my nap attempt we headed up to his parents house to celebrate the day with his family. We had a yummy dinner and it was so nice to be there with his mom! She is such a wonderful person, and I admire and love her so much! I am lucky to have her as a mother-in-law! You hear of all these horrible mother-in-laws, but mine is not horrible in any way! I didn't take my camera, so no pictures of Sunday, but typing this blog is a good reminder that I need to get more pictures with Stephen's side of the fam!

After we went there we stopped at my mom's house for a few minutes to wish her a Happy Mother's Day as well.

Now if only we can get their gifts complete and to them HaHa! We didn't have time to get them done, so we owe them a new family picture! ;)

I am so grateful for all the wonderful women in my life, and I hope that they all had a great Mother's Day.. even if they aren't mothers yet or ever will be! Women have such an influence in the world, that they all deserve to be celebrated!
