Noah has always been very good about not getting into things or doing things he shouldn't when he's unattended for a few minutes, but all that has been slowly changing HaHa. I don't know if it's just curiousity of cause and effect kicking in, testing his independence, or if he's not getting enough attention from mom and dad lately?!
It seems like it started when he was at my sister-in-law's house the day I came home from the hospital with Everett. He and his cousin Maggie got into his Uncle's "butt powder" (the name of the powder is Anti-monkey butt powder), and had a fun powder fight. He came home looking like an albino HaHa. Funny, but I feel so bad that Liz had to clean up that mess! He told me that him and Maggie were being "sneaky", and since then he has continued to do sneaky things! ..And everytime he tells me he was being "sneaky" which is so funny and cute that it makes it hard to be mad!
Here is a list of the things he has done while left unattended for only a few short minutes:
*Poured syrup all over the kitchen. ..All over the table, chair, and kitchen floor! I wanted to take a picture, but I was too frustrated in the moment. Now I wish I would have. It wasn't funny then, but I can laugh about it now.
*Got into the vaseline, twice! The first time he just smeared it all over himself. The second time it unfortunately went on my carpet! AAhh!
*He climbed up on the bathroom sink and got into the hand soap. It was all over him and the counter!
*Colored on his wall and bed with sidewalk chalk (lucky that it was chalk and easy to clean!)
*Twice now he has peed in a bowl! So gross! ..Daddy is the one that caught both of these incidents, not sure if Noah said he was being sneaky on those.
I feel like I am missing other incidents, and in my sleepless fog I probably am, so if I think of them I will come back and add to this list.
I have tried to tell him to be "sneaky" by doing nice things, not getting into things or doing something naughty, but that hasn't worked yet. ;)
Hoping that this is just a phase! Like I mentioned above, he was normally always pretty good about not getting into things or doing things that he shouldn't so this is all new to me! And the incidents might not seem that bad, but I guess because this is a new thing he started doing it seems worse than it really is to me.
Needless to say I have my hands full with an one-month-old and my sneaky three-year-old! But being their mother is so worth it, even during the frustrating moments! :)

Oh boy! Here comes the lil monster :) hehe.
My friend was just telling me how happy she was that her son was finally potty trained going #1. He would run out of the bathroom and say he did it. Her boyfriend then found a bar stool next to his dresser, and a stash of wet underwear in the very back stuffed in a dresser drawer. He had been hiding when he didnt make it to the potty. Way sneaky! Crazy lil boys!
My neighbors kid also loves the baby powder, and it is a pain to clean!! So funny. You have such a cute family :)
