Of course he is not sleeping much throughout the night, but that is what one would expect for this early on. Sometimes he wakes up every hour to eat, seems two hours is about what happens the majority of the time, and one night I did get a three hour stretch in which was nice! He is an excellent nurser though, even though he does fall asleep quite a bit before he's done, but we work through it and usually a quick diaper change can wake him up enough to finish!
I was worried that he had caught the cold we all had, but fortunately he just has normal baby congestion. With their airways being so small, they get congested easily. Then, I noticed his eye was draining (which at the appointment my doctor said was normal), but that night after the appointment it started to goop over and make his eyelashes and eyelids stick together, so I was worried that he might have an eye cold or infection in his eye, but we are not having that problem anymore..only lasted about a day and a half. It was most likely a plugged tear duct. He has quite a bit of baby acne, which is normal and no big deal, but I feel so bad because some of the spots look so sore. With all my worries I'm sure I'm just being overly paranoid HaHa. You just want to protect little ones from everything and anything at first!
He got his first "real" bath recently. He did not seem to care for it at all HaHa. Hopefully that will change!
He screamed the whole time, so it was a short bath. ;)
And if it's even possible, I think Noah is more in love with his little brother now than he was two weeks ago! He kisses him all day long! He loves to be by him and make sure he is ok! You also get in trouble if you don't let him throw away the dirty diapers after a diaper change HaHa. He is being such a great helper! I could not have asked for his adjustment to this new change to go any better or smoother than it has. He is really adjusting well!
