Feelin' Sassy, Crafty, & a little Antsy

I needed a major change, I was feeling really drab. New hair color and cut, and I am feeling a little bit sassy-but in a momish kind of way HaHa. ;) ..Now I just need some color to my pasty/whiteness, and more whiteness to my teeth! (Not the best picture, wanted to just get one to put up)


I've been feeling in the mood to create lately. I saw a segment on Studio 5 that showed how to make stencils for fabric out of freezer paper, so I designed a couple T-shirt designs for Noah and Baby Boy. Let me first say, I never thought I would put my children in "Big brother," "Little Brother" shirts. I thought they were kind of cheesy, but I saw a cute set that a craft blogger made, so I thought why not?! My design is nothing like hers, but it made me lean toward doing the "big brother," "little brother" thing, but I also added a graphic, no surprise here, I used a Jeep of course HaHa! I only finished Noah's shirt, not so sure I am going to attempt the onesie. Noah's shirt was very time consuming, not super easy (the cutting out with an exacto knife) and it didn't turn out as well as I hoped. The onesie will be even harder and take even longer due to the size of the font and graphic, so I might see about someone cutting them both out for me with a Silhouette cutter onto heat transfer so I can just iron them on instead. ;)

Baby boy's is similar, the differences are the font is smaller (obviously), I used all lower case letters, and instead of the Jeep being white/showing through the black, the onesie would have a black outline (same square-ish shape) and the Jeep would be black inside of that. Not "designer" by any means, but I think they are kind of fun for everyday wear.
*My other craft project I am going to do really soon is a circle mobile for baby's room. His bedding is light blue and dark brown with some circle designs. I am excited to make that! Should be easier than the shirts HaHa. ..I will probably make a couple canvas wall hangings as well (already have the idea in my head of what I want to do).

Lastly, I'm antsy because I am getting so close to the end of my pregnancy! I am antsy to get all our projects done and out of the way (ie: baby's room cleared out, painted, and set up). Antsy to have the house clean and put together/organized. And antsy because I am so excited to meet my little guy and have him here! Pregnancy update coming soon (probably tomorrow) since I had a doctor's appointment, ultrasound, and I'm a week further than the last update.
