We had a great, fun-filled December/Christmas!
Rode on the Polar Express to go to the North Pole to visit Santa with Stephen's side of the fam. Such a fun tradition! I love that even though Santa is there and your riding to the North Pole to see him, the whole experience of riding this Polar Express focuses on why we personally celebrate Christmas, it focuses on Christ. Noah stll wasn't too sure about Santa and didn't want to sit on his lap or tell him what he wanted (which if you asked him he didn't really know anyway), but we got him to sit with us by Santa for a picture at least HaHa. Afterward we all went out to dinner at Pizza Factory, Yum! It was a fun night! (I guess my "little" detail isn't off to such a little start HaHa.)
Grandma Kaye and Cousin (more like an Aunt though) Carly had Noah (and me too I guess, but really we know it was for Noah HaHa) over to make and decorate sugar cookies! He had a blast! I think we all had a blast, I know I did! :)
We got a late start on Christmas this year, and put up all our decor and tree a little later than normal, but we didn't mind because it allowed Noah to have his birthday not be overrun by Christmas. ;) Here is us FINALLY putting up the tree! (It was the week of Christmas we finally got it up HaHa, oops!) ..Despite the late start we had fun putting it up together! Noah was a really big helper (maybe too much at times, but that's how it goes HaHa)!
As per tradition on Christmas Eve we went to Stephen's parents house to eat, visit, read the Christmas story, and exchange gifts. As always it was a great time! This year we also threw in a little sugar cookie decorating which was fun! Noah opened up his first Christmas present from us also, which (of course) was new Christmas jammies!
Christmas morning we opened our presents from Santa and one another, and then we had Stephen's family and my mom down for breakfast. After breakfast we made our way up to my mom's house to eat and visit with my side of the fam, which was awesome (as always) because we rarely get to see them! After spending some time at my mom's house we stopped at Benson's on our way home and ended up eating dinner with them as well.
Santa brought Noah his very first peddle bike, which he has the rest of the winter to learn to ride (with training wheels of course) in our basement so he can be ready for summer. :) That was pretty exciting for him to receive! He also got a lot of other great and fun things from Santa, mom and dad, and everyone else! He was even excited about the clothes he got HeHe! So fun this year as he understood more of what was going on! :)
We videoed a lot of Christmas morning so there aren't too many pictures, but there are still enough (not going to post all of them though HaHa).
We also didn't get a lot of pictures of the rest of the day, we got busy visiting and having fun and forgot to pull the camera out much. =/

How fun! I love that Carly and Grandma had you two over to make cookies...I love sugar cookies but hate making them it takes an eternity and I need a nap when I'm done. I should have come over and watched...and then enjoyed some cookies ha ha. You could say I'm one of the characters in The Little Red Hen story. Looks like you were pretty busy and had lots of fun. Missed you guys too, wish we could have made it over for Christmas :( Your looking so cute too with your tiny belly. I can't wait for March!
