On Sunday night we had his family birthday party. It was Toy Story themed because he loves Toy Story! He got spoiled, as always, and he had a great time at his party! He was running around with excitement all over the place, and it made my heart happy to see him so happy and having so much fun!
Here is the day/party through pictures:
When we got home from church we let him open the small present from us. Toy Story PJs and a new outfit. Surprisingly, he actually loved the gift! I didn't think he would be that excited over clothing. He wanted to change into his new outfit and was excited to be wearing his "new baseball clothes". I am glad he liked it! He was also super excited to wear his Toy Story jammies that night!
For the party I made cupcakes to look like the toy aliens from Toy Story and also printed off some tags to make cupcake toppers that had Toy Story characters on them with a 3.. for his 3rd birthday. ;) I also made a "Happy Birthday" sign. I think they turned out cute! It was fun making them anyway!
I recorded him blowing out his candles and opening all his gifts, so I don't have pictures of him doing those two things, and unfortunately I can't get the video uploaded on the computer yet..and I can never upload them on blogger for some reason, but here are pictures of him (and a lot of him and Maggie, too) having fun with his gifts.
Cars table and chairs set from Grandma and Grandpa Benson and Aunt Emily. Grandpa Benson also put together a wooden truck for him. He loves them both!
Train table and train set from mom and dad. His "big" present from us:
Remote control Jeep from Aunt Susan and Uncle Kevin. He loves it! Throughout opening the rest of the presents he kept going back to it and wanting us to open it HeHe. He has also made sure to remind me over and over we need batteries for it so he can drive it HaHa.:
And I haven't gotten any pictures of him yet with the Toy Story tent and Woody doll and blanket from Grandma, or the Toy Story shirts from Aunt Liz, Uncle Brand, cousins Maggie, and Logan, but I promise I will get some. He loved all of those things as well!
He insisted on wearing his new Toy Story shirt yesterday, even though it's still a little big on him HeHe.
He played in his tent a ton yesterday and ran around with his woody doll, wanting me to make him talk so he and Woody could have a conversation together.
(He also got a Woody and Bucking Bullseye from his cousin Carly as an early birthday present, see this earlier post to read more about it: http://threebensons.blogspot.com/2010/12/early-birthday-present.html )
And here's the family that were able to make it to the party (took the pics one side at a time so no one was left out during the pic and so we'd all fit in one hehe), as well as just some other fun pictures from the night.
AND for Noah's actual birth day..
Monday morning our cute little neighbor girls brought over a homemade card and some birthday treats for him. They are so sweet! (and so is their mom to help them put it all together!) He was really excited and has enjoyed his treats! :)
For lunch him and I went to Sonic and he had fun sitting in the "big" seat upfront while we ate.
Then dinner he wanted to go to "Donalds" and we invited some of our friends (Laura and Jeff) and their children (Brayden Conner, and Kyle) with us. We had fun eating and visiting with them, and the kids had fun playing!
After dinner we were going to go see the Festival of Lights (our second attempt), but Noah fell asleep on the way there again HaHa.
All in all I would say Noah had a great birthday!! :)

How fun! What a fun party!
Happy birthday Noah! Sounds like he had quite the day! The decorations and food you made are so cute. I can't believe he is three already. Crazy!
Those alien cupcakes are awesome!
