Blog Announcement

Most of you that read our blog already know, but I decided I better make an official announcement anyway.
March 24th we are expecting Baby #2! We are really excited! Just shy of a year of trying, we were finally able to conceive (well technically I was finally able to conceive)!

I will be 12 weeks at the end of this week. Had a doctor's appointment yesterday where I was able to hear the heartbeat and all is well so far! I have gained 9 lbs. already..doctor is not concerned, but depending on what/where you read things about pregnancy that might be "too much" for the first trimester. Let's be honest though, it's not like I couldn't use a little extra weight, I've been trying to put on weight for awhile, and I guess pregnancy is the answer to making it stick!

I have no real intuition of what the gender is, most people around that have known I am pregant are guessing a girl. Stephen thinks that it is a girl as well. I'm assuming the ultrasound will be sometime early November, hopefully then we can confirm that it's a healthy baby..that's what I'm most concerned about knowing then...but of course I also am curious to know Baby's gender.

This pregnancy has differed from being pregnant with Noah in the sense that I have not been nauseated as frequent or for as long in duration. With Noah I felt like I was nauseated ALL the time, this time I have bouts of it, but it is not as bad as it was with him. I am thankful for that! I didn't have symptoms of being pregnant as early this time either, with Noah I was pretty sure I was pregnant because of the symptoms I experienced, this time I really didn't even know I was. Other than that the typical pregnancy symptoms are hitting: fatigue, soreness, frequent potty breaks HaHa, etc.

Not "showing" yet, but there is a noticeable weight gain in the stomach area...really I just look like I have a gut HaHa. However, my jeans are already too tight around the waist, and I'm having to use an elastic through the button hole, around the button, to keep them on. Shopping for new jeans soon! Yay!

That is probably more detail than anyone wanted to know. I think I've covered everything so far though! ;)

I may need to go jeans shopping with you, I can't fit into my pants either, I'm a fatty and not cause I'm pregnant ha ha. Yay I'm so excited you finally announced this on your blog:) I have been watching it everyday to see when you would. I know, that sounds kind of creepy. Congratulations again, I can't wait till SHE is here!

Don't you love your body the 2nd time around...ha ha ha. I'm with you all the way. I'm not sure what we have to learn by gaining more weight this time but hey I'm glad we get to experience it together. (I've gained 24lbs!) Shh...don't tell. I am so excited for you and the boys. Congratulations.
