"This week's big developments: Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him — a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb.
In other news: Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. His body's growing faster than his head, which now sits upon a more distinct neck. By the end of this week, his arms will have grown to a length that's in proportion to the rest of his body. (His legs still have some lengthening to do.) He's starting to develop an ultra-fine, downy covering of hair, called lanugo, all over his body. Your baby's liver starts making bile this week — a sign that it's doing its job right — and his spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells. Though you can't feel his tiny punches and kicks yet, your little pugilist's hands and feet (which now measure about 1/2 inch long) are more flexible and active."
Here's what baby looks like this week:

Here's what's going on with me lately: I have a little belly starting to show, could be mistaken as a "gut," but I'd like to think it looks like pregnancy. ;) I need to take a picture of that, as soon as I get my hair done and actually have a day where I get the chance to get fully "ready" HaHa!
They say it's too early to feel the baby, but I've felt little "bubbles" every now and then that I'd like to think are the baby. Could be other things for sure, but it is fun to think about feeling the little one move! I felt Noah pretty early, I'll have to go back through my journal and find out when that was to compare.
Starting to feel a lot better than before, although even before was not bad at all. I don't really feel nauseated at all anymore, and I'm starting to feel less tired (pregnancy wise) and more motivated to do things/get things done, instead of putting them off. All signs of entering the 2nd trimester, which I am now in! Still have aways to go of course, but so far it feels like it's going by pretty fast, I guess because I'm busier with other things this time around (a toddler and work!).
Just wanted to do a little update while I'm waiting for my last file for the night (Phew! LONG day, worked 10 hours so far..).
