Washington

A few weeks after the family reunion, we made another long drive. We headed up to Washington where Stephen was going to install his Aunt's new kitchen that he built. We didn't really get any pictures of us or family while were there..bummer! :( Here our the pictures of her kitchen though. She was so thrilled with it! A bit more of an older style (meaning they went with Oak..it's just not as popular anymore), but it still looked really nice. :)





While there Stephen worked pretty much the whole time (we didn't plan as much time as we should have). We missed the opportunity to see Darren's MLB team play the Mariners (just missed it :(), which was kind of disappointing because it would have been so awesome to see him, but maybe again in the future we'll get the chance. (Darren is one of the ball players that lived with us, he now plays for the Texas Rangers and is in their pitching rotation. Infact, the other night he struck out Derek Jeter!! Woot! Go Darren! So awesome!) Anyway, back to our trip, I got a tour of Seattle by car, the little ones were sleeping so we didn't want to wake them up. We also got to see cousins we don't get hardly ever see, and it was great seeing them and visiting! Also so fun to stay with his Aunt and visit a new place! :) Stephen's mom was able to go up with us, and it was nice for her to get away and relax as well.
On our way back to Utah we stopped in Idaho to see Stephen's grandma (she is starting to go down hill bless her heart), and it was the first time she's seen Noah in person. It was nice to see her, and be able to have said goodbye if that was the last chance we'll get to see her (sad to think about). We had dinner at Stephen's Uncle's house in Idaho as well. (Forgot to mention beforehand, on our way up we split up the trip one night and stayed at Stephen's Uncle's house overnight..so nice to let us stay and break the trip up!) All of his family took great care of us! They are all so great! :)
