Life has been extremely busy in the Benson household. Stephen's little brother got married last Friday, we packed up to head down to Richfield and Monroe so Stephen could measure a job and then we would stay/visit with family (which was awesome!), and then there's life. I have also been busy with normal day-to-day activities, ie: household/wife/motherly duties. I also got a job (but am still looking for a better one) and have been trying to work or apply at other places whenever I can. Then there's the selling of the house, trying to keep it clean and dealing with a lot of walk-thrus.
I will update on everything as soon as I can. I am going to have to skip this week's new meal recipe because I am not making anything new this week.. I haven't had time to find anything or shop for the ingredients.
The one thing I will touch on is, we have gotten 2 offers on our house in the last two weeks. The first one was really, really low. We countered but they didn't accept. The second one was reasonable, we countered, they accepted, and now our house is under contract. There is still a big MAYBE because the sale is all contingent upon the appraisal. We are not sure the house appraises for the amount we need to sell it for to better our situation. (BOO ON THIS MARKET!) If it appraises for the amount offered, then we will continue on into escrow. If not, then we will have to take it off the market and we will stay here. The home inspection is this Friday. The appraisal has not yet been scheduled.
The first offer we got really freaked us out and we weren't sure if we really wanted to move. After 6 months of being on the market we figured we weren't going to get an offer, so we had it in our heads we were just staying here. It has been such a roller coaster of emotions! This time though (and yes I know it's only been a week in between) I am kind of hoping that everything works out and we can sell. If it doesn't, staying here is fine too. We will just have to see what happens. :)

Congrats on the house offers! I hope it works out how you want it to!
Then maybe you can move closer to all of us!!
I understand what you mean about being busy too - and its hard work being a working mom!
