Noah's First Day In Nursery

I know it seems like such a small and silly thing to blog about, but everyone has asked how his first day went, so I thought I'd write it down!

Last Sunday was Noah's first day in nursery. He did pretty good! When we first when in he was fine, instantly went to the toys and to socialize. I decided that I would leave him be since he didn't really mind if I was there or not. I was worried though that when they took the toys away he might not be ok. I was right about that. They put the toys away and he made it through 2 (or so) songs and then got upset. Because I am the Asst. Secretary in the Primary I am always out in the hall. I thought I heard him crying, but no one was heading my way so I wasn't sure if it was him or not. The crying child was starting to sob so I decided to go take a peek and it was Noah. The Nursery leader was headed to the room where they have Sunday School until someone pointed to her that I was behind them, on my way to them. So we went back in together and he did great after that. He wanted his binky and blanket and to sit on my lap during the little lesson, but during snack time and the activity he was all about being a part of the group.

During snack time he decided it was a free-for-all and kept stealing other kids' chocolate animal crackers. At one point he sat in another little boys chair and just went at the other boy's snacks, devouring them HaHa. Little Luke was done though, so he didn't mind. ;)

For their activity they colored a little picture. Noah wanted to just push crayons off the table or eat them mostly. I did get him to color a little bit. Then before it's time to go they get the bubbles out and all the kids go crazy! Noah was running around saying "Bubble! Bubble!" Those kids going after those bubbles is nuts! I am surprised no one gets hurt HaHa. It is really cute how excited they get.

All in all I think he did really great for his first Sunday! I did get in trouble by Stephen though. He wanted to pick Noah up from Nursery (I didn't know this beforehand), but I was already in there so just headed out with him. Next week Stephen wants to go into Nursery with him and I promised him he could. :)

I can't believe that him being able to go to nursery is already here! He is growing up so fast!!
