Five Years!!! -(And Memorial Day Weekend)

May 22nd marked 5 wonderful years of marriage for Stephen and I. Can you believe it? I am barely able. Time has flown by! No doubts we would make it this far, it's just crazy how fast time has gone! Life together has been so wonderful, most of the time HaHa. ;) Just like any other marriage we have our ups and downs, but we always come out on top stronger than ever and ready to face the next trial life throws our way. I feel so lucky to be married to such an amazing person! I could go on and on about how great Stephen is, but I would be sitting behind this computer all night if I did that! Happy 5 Years to us Babe! Love you more than words could ever say!

On to our actual weekend..
I wasn't feeling good the Thursday before our little planned get-away so we ended up cancelling our hotel reservations because I didn't think a day would make much different. However, when Friday came I was feeling a lot better so we mostly stuck with our plan.

Friday we went to the park for a picnic during lunchtime. Noah had to be a big boy and have his sandwich just how it was..although I did get it torn in half before he threw too much of a fit HaHa. He had a blast being a big boy at the table eating lunch, then watching all the big trucks drive by, and of course running around. He also took his first topless Jeep ride. He liked it at first, but on the car ride back he was ready to be out of the wind.
Friday night we dropped Noah off at "Bamma & Bampa" Benson's house while Stephen and I went out. We went to Teppenyaki (not sure on the spelling) for dinner and then we went and saw Night At the Museum 2. Noah spent the night at Grandma and Grandpas so Stephen and I came home and just relaxed after dinner and a movie.

Saturday we went to breakfast at McDonalds..we both wanted to go there for some reason HaHa..then we picked up Noah and headed to Park City for a day of shopping! Saturday night we went and bought some burgers and all the fixins and BBQ'd at my moms house and spent a little time with her.

Sunday we were "naughty" and took Noah to the zoo. He absolutely loved it! We all had a great time! On the way back we stopped at the Mayan for dinner. Awesome entertainment, but the food was just how I remember it, not so good.

Monday was the annual Memorial Day breakfast at Village Inn with Stephen's family, and then we all headed to the Lehi pool. Noah didn't like it so much at first, but once he was able to do playing in the water on his own terms he had a blast! After swimming we went to my moms for lunch, and to my father's grave to visit and place some flowers and a flag. The night ended at a BBQ at Bensons.

It was a long, very eventful weekend but it was SOOO FUN! :) We have missed Stephen being at work all week. We were spoiled to have him all to ourselves Friday through Monday!

I am going to do a separate picture post for our "family" activities over the weekend because I still need to get them uploaded! So more to come! ;)
